I wasn't at all familiar with the Chef's Choice brand so I was curious to see how this stacked up. The Chef's Choice Classic WafflePro 852 makes two waffles at a time in less than two minutes. Yes, I checked and it really does. This is twice as fast as the other wafflemaker I have. I also like that it's instantly ready for the next waffle. You don't have to wait for it to heat up again after you remove the cooked waffle. When you're cooking for a husband with a huge appetite and two hungry teenagers, that's important. The wafflemaker has a non-stick, easy release coating that works wonderfully. The waffles lifted right out with no sticking whatsoever. Best of all, they came out crunchy on the outside and light and soft inside! When we were done, clean up was non-existent. There was nothing left stuck to the wafflemaker at all so I did nothing but let it cool down and put it away. How's that for easy :) I can honestly say that this wafflemaker makes better waffles than the one I already have. It's faster to cook with and easier to clean up. If you're entertaining this holiday, this is the wafflemaker I recommend.

This waffle maker is great. I bought it knowing that if I got wife something shiny for the kitchen she would use it. We have used it four times so far and tried three different recipes. Cooking the waffles on the highest heat for about 3 minutes works best for us.
We haven't had a waffle even try to stick to the iron yet, every one comes out easy. There is very little cleaning involved after use. It heats up quick, cooks fast and is easy to maintain.
There are more expensive options out there, but if you like traditional sytle waffles this is a good one to go with.

I love this waffle maker! It is easy to use, easy to clean and makes delicious waffles in a jiffy. They are crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside. i would recommend this waffle maker to a friend!
