When my son pulled the box with our coffee press out of the car and dropped it, I heard the tinkle of broken glass...but was delighted to find a replacement carafe so easily, and it arrived within just a few days. It is a bit pricey for a replacement but it's better than buying a new press.

Item work and it's fine, but despite several attempts it didn't come back together quite right and looks and feels a little funny. Should have paid the extra money to get a new one.

It's exactly what you'd expect, except that it doesn't seem to fit quite right in my Bodum Brazil pressBodum Brazil 8 cup French Press Coffee Maker, 34 oz, Black. It seems to be a bit too big for the holder. The press part fits fine inside of the glass beaker.
